The 11th IEEE Power India International Conference (PIICON-2024) was organized at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, India, from 10th to 12th December 2024. The conference attracted participants from across the globe as well as from various parts of India, who came together to present their research, share experiences, and exchange ideas in areas such as Power and Energy Transformation and Utilization, Power Converters, Renewable Energy Integration and Control, Power Electronics in Transportation and Vehicle Systems, Smart Grid/Microgrid Planning, Operation and Analysis, and IoT and AI for Energy Technologies. The conference was held under the theme “Power and Energy Enabling Technologies for Future Grid”. A total of 480 papers were submitted, out of which 220 were selected through a rigorous review process. Ultimately, 188 papers were presented in oral and poster sessions across the three-day event. In addition, several leading technology firms, including Entuple Technologies, Typhon-HIL, and Scientific Mes Technik, participated in the conference exhibition, showcasing their latest products and solutions.

10th IEEE Power India International Conference (PIICON-2022) organized at National Institute of Technology Delhi, India from 25th -27th November 2022. The participants came from across the world and within India to exchange knowledge, experience and research ideas on Grid Integration of RES, power and energy engineering, data analytics & AI applications for power systems, transportation and energy storage, grid, smart grids, microgrids and AC & DC, power electronics and their applications, energy managements, electricity market and policy/regulatory aspects etc. The conference theme was “Recent Advancements in the Area of Electrical engineering, Decarbonization of Grid and EV Infrastructure”. Total 215 papers were submitted out of which 131 papers were selected through a rigorous review. Overall, 130 papers were presented orally in 20 technical sessions spread over three days of conference. Many technology firms SPI Engineering, Tektronix, OPAL-RT Technologies, Typhon-HIL, etc. participated in the conference by displaying their products and solutions in the Exhibition during the conference.

9th IEEE Power India International Conference- PIICON-2020, was held from 28 Feb- 01 March 2020 at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal, Delhi- National Capital Region, India. The Conference theme was, “Reinventing the Electric Power Systems”. 236 manuscripts were submitted to PIICON2020, of which 166 papers were accepted in the final program and 159 papers were presented.

The participants came from across the world to exchange knowledge, experience and research ideas on Power System Operation and Control, Power System Planning, Power System Reliability, Power System Stability, Renewable energy sources and storage, Power electronics and drives, Smart grid etc. The conference aims to put together the experts from these areas to disseminate their knowledge and experience for working towards Planning Operation and Control of Futuristic Power Systems. Total 215 papers were submitted out of which 131 papers were selected through a rigorous review. Overall, 130 papers were presented orally in 20 technical sessions spread over three days of conference. Many technology firms OPAL-RT Technologies, Typhon-HIL, PRDC etc. participated in the conference by displaying their products and solutions in the Exhibition during the conference.
