Welcome to PIICON-2026

IEEE Power India International Conference 2026 (PIICON 2026), the 12th edition in its prestigious series, serves as a premier platform for the global community of scientists, engineers, researchers, industry professionals, and academicians to converge and share their latest insights and innovations. Hosted at Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, India, PIICON 2026 will showcase cutting-edge research and transformative ideas under the overarching theme: “Sustainable Power and Energy Solutions for Future Electric Grids and E-Mobility.” This theme underscores the urgent need for global collaboration in accelerating the transition towards sustainable energy ecosystems. It highlights emerging challenges and opportunities in power and energy transformation, particularly in light of climate change, renewable integration, and the electrification of transport.

PIICON 2026 is co-sponsored by IEEE PES-IAS Delhi Chapter and IEEE PELS-IES Delhi Chapter, and technically co-sponsored by IEEE Delhi Section, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section and IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS). PIICON 2026 is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring broad participation across regions, gender, and disciplines. The conference will serve as a powerful platform to network, collaborate, and collectively chart a path forward for the future of energy and mobility. All presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore for possible inclusion. Selected papers may also be considered for further review for publication in the IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications or the IEEE IAS Magazine

The proposed conference IEEE Power India International Conference (PIICON-2026) is in its 12th edition and before that it has been successfully organized by premier institutes, like MNIT Jaipur NIT Delhi, IIT Delhi, DTU Delhi, DCRUST Murthal, NIT Kurukshetra and EC Bikaner etc… under the aegis of IEEE PES-IAS Delhi chapter as well as IEEE PELS-IES Delhi Chapter as financial sponsors of the conference. The earlier editions were also technically sponsored by IEEE IAS, PELS, IES and PES.
